The Century Arms 93 is a U.S made clone of the HK93, a 5.56x45mm/.223 derivative of the HK91. It’s most distinct visual difference is the polymer trigger group housing. Unlike standard H&K Navy lowers, the C93 uses one that has finger grooves and side texturing. In spite being a fraction of the cost of a real HK93, $2000-$3,000 v. $650-$800, the C93 has a hit-or-miss reputation in terms of reliability due to poor quality control. If you do have a problematic example, Century Arms usually takes them back for repair or exchange. Other option is to go through an HK gunsmith willing to work on them. (GRH)
